Chat is back with “Mellow”. What has it been reading? Are we in a 1960s science-fiction fantasy? (Though I can’t fault it, that’s probably better than the dystopia brewing outside. Here’s Donovan’s Mellow Yellow from 1966 if you need it.)

What sparked this? We’re working through what’s the actual difference between “Calm” and “Relaxed”. It’s having some issues with that distinction, generally overlapping the two words. (Note to self to spend more time on definitions for the next Modular Expert)

In one suggested prompt it wrote

Chill! I can’t wait for Chat to have a chance to write it’s own emotional vocabulary. It will be groovy.

On a more serious note, is Chat having a problem with relaxed because it doesn’t understand the physicality of stress or release? Is relaxed a sensation that only animals can describe or understand? It drifts to focus on tones or pacing, much more what’s found in writing, not the body.
